		<description><![CDATA[My mother-in-law, Merriam Banbury, would have loved to hear about this conference.  

She joined AAUW after earning her degree at UCLA and continued to be an active member throughout her career in education in Southern California.  

She raised 3 children while teaching second grade and earned her masters degree after they were grown when she became a Psychometrist for the La Puente School District.

......another one of those untold stories of those in the ranks.  She was an inspiration to many of us.]]></description>
