You&#039;ve done a great job of summarizing the major priorities of the speech.  And yes, it will be an important year for the nation and for the administration in power.  
The polarized political operatives currently serving must be replaced and/or re-programmed to hear the will of the people.  The President is unable to enact most of these initiatives that he laid out.  Will we have another year of compromising and then finding that the oposition is going to vote &quot;no&quot; anyway.   Does the President have the temperment to &quot;do battle&quot; with the forces that oppose his plans?  Will the citizens stand up and rally around health care and the jobs issue?  It seems that the apathy has become so overwhelming to the majority of the country that  nothing will change and we are going to have more of the same inertia and frustration.]]></description>
