- Zahabiyah "Zabie" Khorakiwala is the Leadership Programs Fellow with AAUW. She completed her undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine receiving her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior and Education and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs at The George Washington University. She is extremely passionate about women's issues and sexual assault prevention on college campuses. Prior to joining AAUW, Zabie worked as a Career Counselor at a homeless rehabilitation shelter in downtown San Diego. Her experiences with colleges and universities as well as the non-profit world have led her to AAUW for a year long fellowship. She enjoys listening to music and practicing yoga and she misses her Southern California beaches!
