Julie Warren is a writer and editor in AAUW’s publications department. Previously, she worked for a number of D.C.-area associations as an editor, writer, and publications manager. She has written many articles for association and consumer magazines and, through her affiliation with the American Society of Interior Designers, edited Residential Design for Aging in Place, a book on designing homes for people with age-related disabilities. Julie has a bachelor’s degree from American University and is pursuing a master’s in professional writing and editing at George Mason University.
